Andy Lau simultainiously maintained both a successfull film and singing career at the same time, and is one of Hong Kong’s most famous faces. After signing up for a training program with TVB, a leading entertainment Chinese channel, Andy Lau‘s career and popularity really took off in style when he played the lead in The Return of the Condor Heroes as ‘Yang Guo’.
Lau plays a police captain, Leo, who arrests Mei (Zhang Ziyi) because he thinks she will lead them to the rising rebel group the Flying Daggers. Leo is watching Jin (Takeshi Kaneshiro) as Jin gains Mei’s trust. Leo and Jin are on the same side but Leo decides to keep a careful watch from a distance. But things start to go wrong when the charade becomes more realistic than any of them imagined.
